  • Kaiut Yoga

    Leesa Williams

Thu in Mind & Body Studio
    12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (1 hour)
Kaiut Yoga, also known as Longevity Yoga, is a floor-based practice that utilizes gravity to unwind chronic restrictions in the joints. The founder of this yoga, Francisco Kaiut, created this method using ancient yoga practices designed for the modern body. Similar to yin yoga, we hold poses and use very finely tuned micro-engagements to release adhesions in the connective tissue, which can strengthen and open the joints, aid in chronic pain relief, and create more mobility and increased circulation. Focus on the joints rather than the muscles helps us work more with the root causes of our discomfort and will create waves of benefits in the rest of the body, including the muscles and the nervous system.
